Cleaning Instructions for Skin Care Ports

Step 1: Immerse skin port in hot water and mild cleaning detergent for surgical instruments for 15 minutes.

Step 2: Wash each skin port individually with a cannula scrub brush. Make sure to dislodge any attached debris. 

Step 3: Rinse each skin port with distilled water.

Step 4: Dry each skin port individually with a sterile cloth.

Step 5: Place 4 skin ports (4 disks and 4 ports) in an autoclave pouch self-sealing.

Step 6: Place pouch inside autoclave for a 30-minute run cycle at 270 degrees with a 15 min dry cycle.
